ETRO, the social robot - The Institute of Electronics and Telecommunications Research (ETRI for its acronym in English) has introduced a new robot, the new version of ETRO, the social robot created in South Korea.
Thanks to technology, the new robot is able to respond to people around them using simple phrases and facial expressions using that kind of screen that leads to simulate a face. This design has arms more complex than its predecessor, and has a base that can move in all directions, with ultrasonic sensors and sensor PSD. ETRO's chest we find a camera angle used to image recognition.
